Novo Medical Aesthetics LLC is led by Zina Butaeva M.D. and Igor Turok M.D., board-certified physicians in practice for more than 15 years and members of the American Cellular Association and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. Igor G. Turok opened his own private practice so that he could deliver the highest quality of care in an advanced, self-contained center. He is one of 200 physicians in the nation who is Board Certified in Neurology and Anesthesia, Interventional Pain Management. Dr. Turok was a Director of Neurology and Pain Management at Masonicare Health Center at Wallingford and Newtown locations. Dr. Turok was a Director of Neurology and Pain Management at Gracie Square Hospital (Cornell) in NYC. Dr. Turok had been involved in Palliative Care and Hospice and acted as a Medical Director at Jakow Perlow Hospice of New York. As a pain management specialist, Dr. Turok had been exposed to the field of Addiction which led him to become a Director of Saint Vincent’s Methadone Clinic.
Dr. Turok was a Director of Neurology and Pain Management at Masonicare Health Center at Wallingford and Newtown locations. Dr. Turok received his interventional pain management training at Beth Israel Medical Center/Albert Einstein School of Medicine, rated one of the top interventional pain management programs in the nation. He received his Neurology training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, one of the highest-ranked departments in the Northeast, and one of the leading programs in the nation. Dr. Turok is an active member of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, the American Academy of Neurology and Psychiatry, the American Society of Anesthesiology, and the International Spine Intervention Society.
Dr. Turok treats all pain syndromes and performs a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and surgeries, including Botox injections, Injections of Platelet Rich Plasma, AmnioFix injections, epidural, selective nerve root blocks, sympathetic nerve blocks, facet and sacroiliac joint injections, radiofrequency rhizotomy, kyphoplasty, and spinal cord stimulation.
Dr. Turok treats all neurological diseases. He specializes in preventative measures while utilizing highly sophisticated and noninvasive testing such as ultrasonography, electroencephalography, nystagmography, and electromyography. Multiple investigative modalities are used in order to establish the correct diagnosis and set up an appropriate protocol of care.
Dr. Turok truly believes in improving a person’s outlook on life itself which led him to establish himself as an integral part of the medical esthetic community. He is certified and trained by the Esthetic Skin Institute to perform advanced aesthetic procedures.
Dr. Turok’s opened a wellness center and offers various aesthetic treatment options such as injections of cosmetic Botulinum toxin for glabellar lines, smoker’s lines and crow’s feet as well as for excessive underarm sweating. Dr. Turok also utilizes a variety of dermal fillers (Radiesse, Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm, and Belotero) to augment and prevent the appearance of fine to deep lines as well as restore volume of cheeks, nasolabial folds and other areas. Lastly, Dr. Turok also injects Platelet Rich Plasma in order to rejuvenate the skin and reverse the aging process. Dr. Turok is certified to inject Kybella (deoxycholic acid) which helps safely dissipate submental fullness.
Dr. Turok believes in a holistic approach to every person’s medical or esthetic issues. Patients are routinely involved in yoga exercises, massage therapy and manual therapy which play an intricate role in the anti-aging protocol.
